It's Not What Happens in Life - It's How You React That Matters I have been fired from 4 jobs since I became a Christian. The first time it happened, my employer framed it as "not renewing my contract."  The second & third occurrences were "budget cuts." There are two things that some professing Christians do that really bug me. First, they act appalled when non-Christians smoke pot, curse, have sex outside of marriage, live together without being married, drink and - you name it. Secondly, they cower into a fetal position whenever a non-Christian mocks or challenges their faith. I don't understand why we would expect people to act contrary to their nature.
